Frank’s wanted to reach a new generation of hot sauce lovers: Gen Z. What better place to find them, than in the world of gaming.

The Floor is Lava is a popular game mode in Fortnite, where you avoid the rising lava to win. Lava is hot, orange and saucy, and a whole lot like Frank’s RedHot. Only problem is, lava is bad, but Frank's is good.

So we made The Floor is Flava: a custom, immersive Fortnite island, where we encouraged players to dive into the Flava. And for the first time ever in Fortnite, we made it possible to Emote — you know those silly little dances — while you sink into the sauce. Losing is basically winning when you get to experience , "The Most Delicious Game Over.” We got to make a video game y’all! DIVE INTO DELICIOUS DOOM.

We then linked up with influencers to reach Gen Z gamers in their natural habitat. We livestreamed some gameplay in Twitch, and the game then completely took off. Gathering impressions across Youtube, Twitch, and Tiktok. (Just search Floor is Flava to see some of the videos.)
